Alarm Technician TRAINEE **WE WILL TRAIN**

We are looking for a dependable candidate willing to learn. We will train!! Must report to South San Francisco Monday - Friday 8:30 AM.

Summary: Assist, under direction of an upper level Installer / Service Technician, in the installation of complete security systems and / or
repair of existing equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

  • Establish positive contact with the customer
  • Prepare equipment.
  • Assist in the installation or repair of the system as required.
  • Assist in the running of necessary system tests.
  • Process necessary documentation.
  • Work toward proficiency in all job areas.
  • May install wireless system independently.
  • All other miscellaneous responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to use maps/GPS and travel independently
  • Competence and aptitude in the use of hand tools
  • Ability to crawl and work in small spaces
  • Ability to use a ladder
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • No prior experience required
  • Mechanical / Low Voltage / Electrical experience a plus
